Stretton and Sunnybank Community Cabinet
The third Palaszczuk Government’s Community Cabinet was held in Stretton and Sunnybank on 2–3 August 2015.
This was the first Community Cabinet held within the South-East Queensland region and provided a unique opportunity for residents in the southern suburbs of Brisbane to meet with the Cabinet and senior government officials to raise their questions and ideas.
Cabinet Ministers undertook over 80 deputations, with an extensive Q&A session with community members, which the Premier and her Cabinet undertook prior to formal deputations, where everyone was provided with a chance to have their say.Community Cabinet meeting at Stretton State College.
An official Community Cabinet reception followed at the Calamvale Conference Centre, where members of the business community, multicultural community, sporting groups, schools and other community members were able to meet informally with the Premier, her Ministers, and senior government officials.Premier addressing community members at the Stretton and Sunnybank Community Cabinet Reception.
