    A Flying Start

Education is the key to a bright future for our children, and the Government is investing in education to give every Queensland child the flying start to learning and life they deserve.

    Early education

The Government’s commitment to education means that by 2014, every Queensland child will have access to kindergarten taught by qualified early childhood teachers. In addition, we have rolled out 240 extra kindergarten services in areas where they are most needed.

We’re not stopping there. The government recently announced a raft of new policies to make kindy more accessible to families, wherever they live.
