Supporting communities in Queensland: message from the Premier

The more ways my government can support communities throughout Queensland the better. We regularly hold community events across the state so we can listen first-hand to what you have to say.

Our Community Cabinet functions give individuals and community groups the chance to make formal deputations to ministers or chat informally over a cup of tea at a community gathering.

Other community events include Regional Parliament, Toward Q2 community forums and other opportunities throughout the year.

These community events are designed to bridge the gap between the government and the people. It's part of my commitment to being a government for everybody no matter where they live in Queensland.

Anna Bligh MP
Premier of Queensland
